Draft a policy with AI
AI can write the first draft of each section from your answers. You check every section before it is used.
On a policy page, Draft with AI writes the sections from your answers to the policy questions and About your business. Everything AI writes is a draft. It is used only after an owner or admin reads it and confirms it.
Steps
- Open a policy and answer its questions. See Write a policy from questions.
- Press Draft with AI.
- The first time, read Before you use AI drafts and press I understand, use AI drafts. You accept this once for your organisation. Press Not now to keep writing without AI.
- Wait while AI drafts the policy. You can keep answering questions.
- When it says AI draft ready, read each section. Each one is marked as written by AI.
- Change anything that is wrong. To try again, press Redraft with AI on that section.
- Initial each section, then press Publish.
Good to know
- AI can get things wrong. Check names, dates and time limits against your own records.
- To make a draft, CareHelm sends your answers to an AI service that works for us, outside Australia.
- If AI can't draft a policy, your answers and the template draft are still there.
